Zeus made his way down that road to freedom! He is officially an American and we couldn't be happier for him. This sweet boy did not have a good start in life. He was just existing on the side of a road in Mexico. He was malnourished, had mange, and the ticks got to him bad. While thousands of cars drove past him everyday, we made sure he had a meal every day. He would not come near us at first as he was scared. We did not give up on him. We went every day so he could hear a gentle voice and build trust with him. He slowly started to come around and once he realized we were not so scary he just jumped in the car one day. He wanted to be rescued. He hasn't looked back since and is the sweetest, happiest boy. With a special diet, medications, and skin treatments we are happy to report he is 100% healthy. He just needed someone to come along and help him. He is a 1 and a half years of age and 25lbs. He has been fully tested, vetted, and is vaccinated. He is neutered, microchipped, and is on flea/tick and worm prevention. When we look at this boy, our hearts are so full of love for him. We know you will feel the same way we do. It is impossible not to :-)
